Yoga for Krav Maga

About Yoga for Krav:
This class reinforces bio-mechanical components of self-defense techniques taught in Krav Maga through the practice of Yoga Tune Up. Yoga Tune Up is a head-to-toe health and fitness system combining Yoga, Calisthenics, Corrective Exercise and Body Therapy in a way that heals damaged muscle tissue, increases overall strength, and bolsters the immune system. This provocative approach to yoga challenges the body to think, react and restructure itself to maximize flexibility, strength and power. Reclaim mobility and improve stability in each of your body’s joints and micro regions. Learn more about your own anatomy, get relief from old and new injuries, and refine your sense of spatial awareness. Unlearn old movement patterns and replace them with healthier ones. While this class is sequenced to reinforce the bio-mechanics of self-defense in Krav Maga, it is relevant and appropriate to anyone from any fitness background that wants to live better in their body, eradicate pain, improve posture and enhance performance.
